Yup still in Prague, Gonna be here for another 2 weeks too.
Arrived at Justins a few days ago, J is truely awesome for giving me and a person he doesnt know a roof to reside under. Man, this is a lush flat and the amount he's paying to live here is criminal. Anyone up for a flat share in Prague?
Feeling a little down right now, Just got back from the airport after seeing Lucy off. She goes back to Belgium for 2 weeks. We meet up again in Netherlands. Its amazing how important someone can become in such a short amount of time. Really gonna miss her for these weeks coming. I've got a lot to do untill then so hopefully my brain will be too busy to dwell for too long. Hope so anyway =( Regardless, I'm amazed at how smitten I am, how strong my feelings are is still a surprise.
I'm putting some tunes together right now for a release. A guy in Russia who runs a small record label wants to release a 30 min EP by yours truely. Its nice coz I dont loose control of the tracks, they will still be mine to do with what I choose. He's gonna give me about 100 copies to sell while Im out and about which could provide a bit of extra capital. Only downer is I've got all of 2 days to get everything finished, time for some major graft I think.
Anyways, back to the matter at hand.
Despite my initial concerns about Prague being quite a depressive city (judging by its inhabitants) its actually a lot of fun, or at least, we've had a lot of fun here so far.
Went back into Tesco where the same security guard decided he wanted to search me again. I emptied my pockets, turned them inside out. Then removed my T shirt, hoisted down my shorts (forgetting that I'd gone against boxers that morning) revealed my nekid ass and "presented" myself for further examination. The guard blushed and asked me to leave. I went in the next day as well and to my delight discovered that the guard had now been demoted to till bitch. I feel a small victory.
Seen most of the city now, The old town is really pretty, a tad touristy perhaps, but nice to look at. There is a big hill in the west of the city which we climbed a couple days ago. There's a nice statue at the bottom, a decaying guy, pretty cool. The view from the top is awesome. Nearly all of the city is visible. Saw a red squiral on the way down, the first I think I've ever seen.
At the bottom of the hill there is a square with a large fountain. We removed our shoes and soothed our aching feet. Then the main jets kicked in, firing water 20 feet into the air. We danced around getting absolutely soaked through. The locals seemed slightly bemused, probably down to the strange smile like expression on our faces. A rare sight in these parts.
The city at night is so relaxed. Loads of cafes, bars, and street venders. Lots of Casinos too. We ventured into one briefly but I guess there is some kinda dress code. We got A LOT of strange looks. Its a shame really, I fancied playing a few hands on the poker tables. Prolly for the best though. I only ever seem to win when I'm the dealer....... Wierd huh?
Been to a couple bars, nothing heavy. J took us to this noice little place near a park where you can sit on the roof and look at the greenery. Lucy and I also found a funny little place on our quest to find a cheep shot of absynth. Now, Im sure I've drank this green devil before, but chances are it was at the peak of a session and fairly un-memorable. This time I was sober, and I am never gonna forget that taste. This stuff is FKN foul. Was unsure I could handle a shot so took a sip first and Im glad I did. If Id necked it I would've had to sprint outside to puke. (J told me about Smellybels bouncing shot, and I think that wouldve seen a repeat performance) So we both sat there for about 30 mins, sipping these shots of filth. I think we got about 2 thrids of the way through before both admitting that we did not want to drink any more. Im expecting a chorus of "PUSSY" but meh... You know about how little I drink and this stuff is far beyond my limits.
And today...
Woke up early and headed for the airport. Its a really nice space actually, and a lot less chaotic than Heathrow or Stanstead. Its a massive building and was almost empty too. I got the impression that a lot of money had been spent on developing an international standard airport for this country without ever having the thought that maybe not so many people would actually want to travel here. There where over 200 check ins in the departure area, and 2 of them where open.
So now I realize I'm waffling.. who want to hear about Prague airport?!?!
Landed another gig in Russia which is cool, I now have 2 in Moscow and 1 in St Petersburg. Also in the process of arranging a couple in Beijing which I really hope comes through. Its slightly frustrating, a couple things have fallen through while Ive been out here. The possibility of playing in Prague seems to have disapeared, and the event organiser from Vienna seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet. And yet at the same time, Ive been offered 3 gigs in the UK, all of which I've had to decline because of travelling. I still have 5 confirmed and a couple possibles to look forwards to but I want more more MORE!!!
Anyways. All the best to anyone who reads this.
Keep riding dem schwingers und die roundabóténgeighen. LUV!

Prahahaha
Wooot, Finally arrived in Prague after a couple of delays
This is a wierd little country, I think its in the running for the most depressed population compotition. Everyone here has a massive frown on their face, and the bus from the airport was filled with people who looked as though they where on the verge of tears.
We were both feeling tired after the journey so crashed out as soon as we got to the hostel (which is one of the cruddiest looking places you`ll ever see) But its cheep so whatever.
The next morning I was up at 7 on the hunt for some aspirine. I found myself in a tescos in central Prague. After a hunt for headache pills, i walked back out of the shop, and was aprehended by a security guy who accused me of shoplifting.
After about an hour of interogation in Czech which wasnt so helpful, and more questioning by police I was alowed to go. Its a long story, not gonna spend the time to type it now.
Anyways...
Prague is a cool city, i get a kinda wierd impression of it, asthough there is a lot of stuff going on, but hidden away from the eyes of visitors. Hopefully I`m here for long enough to see some of it. The country feels asthough its being forced to evolve and adapt to slightly more modern times. Most of the place still looks old and beaten up from past times.
Have some pics, more to follow..

Incidently, just realised that you`re only seeing half the pics. To see the whole thing, right click on em and copy img source and open in a new tab.
Love to all =D

Pra...... oh, errrr Brussels!
So, right now I should be chillin out in Hotel Podoli in Praha, but.... not the case.
I am, infact in Brussels chillin in a awesome guys apartment. Decided that we are too addicted to spend time apart so I accidently missed my flight and instead got on a bus to Brussels.
Its so good to be out of Paris, my debit card will remain eternally grateful, as will the Parisians since they wont have to endure my lame attempts at French conversation.
Im glad to get a chance to look around BXL properly. This city is really cool, really chilled, and really pretty. Walking around the centre on a Friday night was a real eye-opener. Ive never seen such a relaxed city centre, the only raised or agresive sounding voices belonged to UK tourists. The binge drinking culture is a very UK thing. In a country with such a strong tradition for beer etc it cool to see that they know how to handle it. The UK has a lot to learn.
We broke into this station today, well kinda station. During the week its a fully functioning train stoppy place thing, and on the weekends it becomes a party venue. Makes me think of a civil servant who wears pretty womans garters. The interior is totally covered in graf and has stages an everything. We NEED to try n rent this place for a party, check out the pics.
Aparently Brussels biggest tourist attraction is Manneken Pis. Its a small statue of a pissing boy, and somethimes they put a Kimono on it....... Damn these crazy euro cats. I would love to attach a picture, but frankly it so underwhealming its not worth the band width. There are way better things in this city, the people and the culture for example.
Another thing I thought was cool. On our way from the bus station, we walked past a massive stage in the middle of the city. There was some Techno DJ playing to at least 100 people. It was about 11 at night and this was LOUD. The bass was fkn amazing. The best part was, there where no complaints etc to or from the coucil, they where the organisers! They've organised a whole series of these things all over the city. Like I said, UK has a lot to learn. I'll always love London, but the holes are begining to become far more apparent.
Theres so much more to talk about, but its late an Im tired. Take square.

Paris 2
Last day In Paris today, Lucy gets her bus to BXL in a couple hours and I fly to Prague tonight. We meet up there in a couple days.
Man, Im gonna be glad to get out of Paris, this city is wierd. Not so much a functioning captial, more a massive tourist attraction. Almost everything in central Paris is geared towards extracting money from almost willing tourists, like Lambs to the slaughter.
Mont Martre was close to depressing in some ways. All the stories Ive heard of it are now just very distant memories. None of the free thinking, world changing individuality remains. The place that once inspired people like Satre and Picasso is now a fully functioning "aint it quaint" machine. US tourists photographing everything everywhere, and a hundred art hurses all called "le chat noir" We entertaind ourselves by standing on the main steps and getting into as many photographs as possible, in as rude as possible poses. The merry-go-round etc was all closed off, but we broke in and found our own uses for it.
Paris has attacked my wallet, and left it battered. This place is more about life style than culture, where a capuccino costs over 5 euros because its a parisian thing to do!? meh.....
Despite my whinning, Paris has been awesome fun. Lucy an I found many ways to stay busy, man Im sore..........
Stuff has really happened between us, I feel so much towards her, and all that crap about paris being romantic... blah. I dont need a city to tell me whats in my heart. Feels really fkn good!
Not gonna attach any photos this time, the comp here is rubbish and most of em are way too rude. Another time tho...
Oh, anyone know what happened at Morrisons the night before i left?
Anyways, au revoir from Lucy an I.

Paris!
K, so arrived in Paris a couple days ago. Spent a few days in Mechelen and had a lot of fun riding about on a mo-ped and eating traditional food.
Paris is cool, crazy expensive and kinda confusing to get around. Athough, getting lost is half the fun of cities like this. Stopping on every corner for a kiss and a think.
Saw some black albino twins on the Metro yesterday, which was pretty cool.
Been staying with a lady called Cecile who runs a Hardcore record label called Epileptik. She really cool and friendly, her dog is a bit too friendly and keeps trying to love on my leg,
Have some pics.

St Albans
K, so right now Im in ma front room starting ma blog. Not even left the country and already the stress is kicking in.
Trying to chase up my visa today. Found a company that can do both my chinese and my russian documents, or so they say...
Russian one is all sorted, they "forgot" to sort out my chinese papers tho. After a slightly heated converstaion on the phone, they promised me it would be ready to collect by Thursday lunchtime. That means I got to travel into central London, sit in their office till it gets delivered. Then rush back to St. Albans, collect all my stuff, and get to London Stansted airport by 17:00. I guess the other option is to tube it straight to the airport, but this weather and a massive bag.... Hmmm, would like to avoid that is poss.
Sod it tho. Im too excited to really get worried. Gonna be in Belgium in 3 days, playing my first foreign gig in 4. Oh man has this was all creeping up on me, an the last couple weeks have gone soo quickly. I just hope that my time there doesnt go so fast.
See you all on Wednesday night hopefully.
Much love n fries.
